And particularly as more and more details come out about exactly what his rape accuser told Politico. The social media world in Maine is exploding with anger and cries of foul.
The NYT, by the way, is not fond of progressives. They have published several articles that seem to diminish the groundswell that Platner and other candidates like him were accomplishing. The WA Post likewise does not seem to like younger people clamoring for change. As for Platner, there are new reports out today that the party got help from Cheyenne Hunt, an “influencer” known for an apparent talent in bringing down men with sexually charged allegations. More evidence of a concerted effort.

Thanks for the context. It’s clear sexual misconduct is a higher priority than other issues to legacy political journalists
